On June 14th, Jackie Jones visited Turning Pages to participate in our book club. She had gifted 25 copies of her poetry book "Lake Reflections" to our club and came for a wrap up session/reading with the group. It was a neat change from the novels we normally read. Her book included beautiful artwork for each poem and a DVD was included – each poem had its own accompanying soundtrack - sounds from life on a lake, our own Charlotte area Lake Norman.
